Breast Augmentation
The most common cosmetic surgery procedures performed in the U.S. each year are Breast augmentation procedures, commonly known as breast enlargements. Due to the high demand of this surgery, I have committed myself and my practice to breast augmentation as our primary focus. While I devote a great deal of my time to this procedure, I still do other breast, body and facial cosmetic surgeries and minimally invasive procedures.

Breast augmentation procedures have the highest re-operation rates nationally of any cosmetic surgeries. Despite such high numbers, I have one of the lowest re-operation rates in the country because my attention to detail and the needs of each individual patient bring about more natural results. Taking additional time during the pre-operation period results in less complications, which in turn, results in a lower re-operation rate.
I approach each augmentation procedure the same way. It’s important to fill a patient’s breast tissue to its ideal fullness but not overfill it. It is common for other cosmetic surgical practices to place breast implants that are too large. This combined with a poor surgical technique often results in breast tissue that is overstretched. Not only does the breast look unnatural, but an oversized breast augmentation often results in the need for additional surgery later on. Naturally, having to undergo further procedures, means additional expenses for the patient.
My number one goal in any breast enlargement procedure is to match a patient’s "wishes and wants" to the reality of a their natural breast tissue. This does not mean that I am opposed to a providing a patient with a certain breast size; however, I am very careful to avoid any complications. It is important to respect the limitations of the patient’s body to support the newly enhanced breast implant. Bigger is not always better, so I always put a patient’s safety first rather than risk complications and the potential for having an undesirable outcome. By viewing our before and after pictures you can see the natural-looking, full and youthful breasts that patient’s receive under my care. This improved body image brings patients a new sense of self-esteem. I feel a great sense of satisfaction by helping women feel more feminine, attractive and confident as a result of our breast enlargement surgery.

The decision to get a breast augmentation procedure is nothing to be taken lightly. This is surgery that changes your breasts and your body for the rest of your life. Before making such a life-altering choice you need to do your homework.
Most important in your decision-making process is to find a surgeon that is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. It is very important to understand the importance of board certification before you make the final decision to choose your surgeon.
You also need to ask questions. Find out how many breast augmentations a surgeon does each year as well as what their complication and re-operation rates are. Any surgeon should be forthcoming with this information if they have nothing to hide. If you do not get answers to these questions, ask yourself why – and consider choosing a different surgeon.
Lastly, ask to see several sets of the surgeon's breast augmentation before and after photos. Nothing speaks to a patient like seeing the results yourself. This is your decision to make, and it shouldn’t be made lightly. Again, this is your body, and you are considering a major lifelong change. You are entitled to get more from your consult than a simple discussion. Choose wisely. I hope you find our website both informative and fun to explore.
